Work Environment\nThis position includes a climate-controlled office setting, where you will spend your day engaging with department members and collaborating with other healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses using appropriate clinical tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), to create tailored care plans that reflect the cultural diversity and unique needs of our patient population. \n
- Regularly evaluate the progress of your patients, employing evidence-based interventions and strategies to effectively support their mental health outcomes. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment records, reports, and clinical documentation utilizing current technologies in compliance with regulatory standards. \n
- Collaborate with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to formulate comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize patients' needs and desired outcomes. \n
- Design and implement treatment objectives aligned with patient goals, intervening as needed to enhance patient safety and reduce symptoms. \n
- Act as a liaison, coordinating referrals and establishing productive relationships with treatment providers, clinicians, and other referral agencies. \n
- Provide guidance and education to students, interns, and other volunteers, offering mentoring opportunities to cultivate the next generation of social workers. \n
- Participate in peer-to-peer review and clinical collaboration, working under the direction of your clinical supervisor to enhance team dynamics and promote professional development. \n
This role focuses on providing mental health support to patients and families affected by cancer, which requires sensitivity, understanding, and specialized knowledge of the emotional and psychological challenges associated with such diagnoses. Your ability to build rapport and trust with patients will be crucial in creating a supportive and healing environment.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. \n

- Experience working with oncology patients or in a detox center is highly desirable. \n
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies specific to mental health. \n
- Experience in collaborative treatment planning within a multidisciplinary team setting. \n
The salary for this position ranges between $90,000 and $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
