HVAC Technician

The Facilities Management and Planning Department at UNK is looking to hire a HVAC Technician. Monitor and maintain campus energy management system. Commission controllers like UNT, AHU, VMA, DX9100, TC9102, FEC and NAE. Check sequence of operation of each air handler unit. Calibrate; space, mixed air, discharge air, heat pump loop, heating, cooling, and outdoor air temperature sensors. Calibrate; duct pressure, building static and heating/cooling water sensors. Run alarm reports and operator override reports. Good oral and written communication skills are required. Will be on rotating backup shift schedule to cover vacationing staff on the 24 hour crew. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School education or GED
• 2 years of Johnson Controls Inc. controls experience in service and or repair
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license

Selected candidate will need to complete a pre-employment physical and background check prior to start date.
