Washington DC Metro Area High School diploma or GED 2-4 Years experience with all phases of structured cabling installations Must pass background check Works independently Washington DC Metro Area Telecommunication Education And Experience Requirements High School diploma or GED BICSI certification a plus 2-4 Years experience with all phases of structured cabling installations Current valid Drivers License Strong verbal communication skills Strong written communication skills Attention to detail Must pass background check Documentation skills Works independently Technical Skills And Qualifications Knowledge of installation and testing of copper cable, CAT 5e, CAT 6, CAT 6a, Coax, optical fiber, audio visual installations, cross connects, cutover, raceway/tray/ conduit installs Verifies service by terminating and testing connectivity of equipment and cables Documents network by labeling and recording test resultsMaintains network by troubleshooting and repairing outages Maintains safe work environments Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and advanced training seminars.
