Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will deliver coordinated nursing care for patients, utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment. This role involves supervising assigned nursing staff and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions

• Collect and analyze relevant data related to the patient's health or situation.
• Develop care plans that prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement care plans and coordinate care delivery, promoting a safe healthcare environment.
• Evaluate progress toward achieving patient outcomes and adjust plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver compassionate care.
• Provide educational support to patients and family members to enhance understanding of health issues.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care after leaving the facility.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience: At least two years of recent experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Certifications:
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.
