Systems AdministratorApex Systems is hiring a Systems Administrator for a large Healthcare client.Location: Pleasanton, California (Partial Remote)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Systems Administrator to serve as a technical specialist supporting Environmental Monitoring and Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) technologies across medical centers and remote clinics. This position provides hands-on technical administration, configuration, troubleshooting, implementation, and operational support.The role is independent and requires a self-starter who can function in a flexible environment with significant travel throughout Northern California.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide ongoing incident, problem, and service-request support for Environmental Monitoring and RTLS technologies.Replace and maintain asset tags.Troubleshoot and perform technical repair on devices not functioning within standard parameters.Monitor system performance, device connectivity, data quality, and operational health to identify potential issues and opportunities for proactive maintenance.Create and maintain job aides, workflow guides, and technical documentation, including system standard configurations and troubleshooting guides.Support clinical and operations end-users and administrators.Perform project implementation work for new or replacement systems.Travel frequently by car to various facilities, approximately 3-4 days per week.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field.Experience: 1-2 years of IT experience.Technical Skills: Understanding of basic networking concepts, technical systems, and healthcare technologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Other Skills: Technical understanding, customer service, and the ability to learn.Must have reliable transportation + a valid license for frequent travel.Preferred QualificationsOne (1) year of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements for IT solutions.One (1) year of experience with engineering tools such as bug tracking and source code control systems.One (1) year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.One (1) year of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment.Experience with Environmental Monitoring or Asset Tracking RTLS technologies.Basic database skills and an understanding of SQL.Healthcare experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
