Job Summary:

Our organization is in search of a PRN Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist to offer intermittent coverage and enhance our expanding pediatric cardiology and congenital heart program. This role presents a distinctive chance to become part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to providing outstanding care for children with congenital heart conditions while aiding in the ongoing development of a comprehensive pediatric cardiovascular service line.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering procedural and clinical support as required, engaging in interventional cardiac catheterization services, collaborating with colleagues in cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, and ensuring seamless, high-quality care for our pediatric patients and their families. This flexible PRN position is particularly suitable for an experienced pediatric interventional cardiologist looking for additional practice opportunities within a rapidly advancing congenital heart program.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology
• Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology
• Current eligibility for medical licensure in Colorado
• Preferred minimum of two years of post-fellowship practice experience
• Proven expertise in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary pediatric heart team
• Interest in fostering the growth and development of a comprehensive congenital heart program

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide PRN coverage for pediatric interventional cardiology services
• Conduct diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures for congenital and acquired heart conditions
• Engage in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology care as necessary
• Collaborate with pediatric cardiac surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and advanced practice providers
• Support initiatives focused on quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical excellence
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and cardiac conferences
• Ensure timely and accurate medical documentation
