Business Analyst

Job Description

The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting enterprise merger integration initiatives. This individual will work directly with business stakeholders across multiple functional workstreams, including HR, Field Operations, Customer Support, Sales, Finance, and IT, to gather requirements, document decisions, identify process impacts, and ensure successful handoff of work to technical delivery teams.

The ideal candidate is a skilled facilitator and requirements analyst who can navigate complex organizational change, drive stakeholder alignment, and translate business needs into clearly documented solutions that support integration objectives.

Core Responsibilities

Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional merger integration workstreams, including HR, Field Operations, Customer Support, Sales, Finance, and IT.

Attend working sessions, capture key business decisions, action items, dependencies, and process impacts.

Analyze current-state processes across both organizations and identify integration requirements, gaps, and opportunities for standardization.

Document business requirements, process flows, data needs, and functional specifications for technical and operational teams.

Partner with project managers, business leaders, and technology teams to ensure alignment across integration initiatives.

Coordinate the handoff of approved requirements and decisions to the appropriate development, systems, or operational teams for execution.

Track requirement status, dependencies, risks, and open questions throughout the integration lifecycle.

Support testing, validation, and business readiness activities for systems and process changes resulting from merger initiatives.

Help ensure consistent communication and documentation across multiple concurrent integration workstreams.

Maintain integration documentation, decision logs, meeting notes, and process inventories.

Remote, but must be in the following states for eligibility for

FTE conversion: California Colorado Florida Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Michigan Missouri Montana Nebraska New York Ohio Texas Virginia Vermont Washington

$42-$47/hr

12month contract with extensions and FTE conversion possible

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise technology, operational, or business transformation initiatives.

Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements across multiple stakeholder groups.

Proven ability to facilitate meetings and workshops with business leaders and subject matter experts.

Experience documenting process flows, business rules, requirements, dependencies, and decisions.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Experience partnering with both business and technical teams to support solution delivery.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication.

Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities. • Salesforce Communications Cloud hands-on experience

• Telecom experience across pre-sales, service management, or customer lifecycle

• Six Sigma certification or process improvement background

• Experience with billing, inventory, HR, or provisioning system integrations

• Agile/Scrum experience

• Exposure to customer portal or e-commerce platforms

• Vendor or third-party management experience
