Overnight Security Officer

Job Responsibilities Report to the Executive Chef and oversee a two‑kitchen, three‑meal period operation including Brasserie Margot, Bar Margot, and the In‑Room Dining menu. Oversee overnight security and safety operations, ensuring compliance with hotel standards and procedures. Protect guests, employees, and hotel property while safeguarding the hotel’s reputation and assets from potential risks or liabilities. Continuously seek ways to improve security and safety services and collaborate with all other departments within the hotel. Act as liaison with law enforcement and emergency services when required, staying informed of relevant laws and hotel emergency procedures. Attend required meetings and stay informed of current laws and hotel emergency procedures to support operational and safety initiatives. Qualifications At least 1 year of security experience, preferably within hotels. High school education or equivalent experience. Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing). Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills; excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to apply an ethical approach to outcomes of situations. Ability to work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner. Ability to multi‑task in a high‑volume and demanding environment. Strong problem‑solving skills, and ability to handle difficult situations and guests. Flexible with schedule—must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, overtime, evening/overnight shifts. Availability for overnight shifts and flexible to work weekends and holidays. Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus. Benefits Excellent salary and wages.
