Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Formulation Scientist role based in Midlothian, TX. The Formulation Scientist will design, develop, and optimize cosmetic scincare, personal care and color cosmetic formulations in alignment with Sunrider’s quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting laboratory experiments, prepering lab batches, performing stability and compatibility studies, documenting research findings, and preparing technical reports. The role collaborates closely with other R&D scientists, quality assurance, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to support technology transfer, scale-up, and continuous improvement of new and existing products. The Formulation Scientist will also assist in evaluating new ingredients, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting cross-functional projects that drive product innovation. Qualifications Strong laboratory skills, including formulation, bench-scale experimentation, and analytical testing. Experience in Research and Development (R&D) and applied research for new product and process development. Knowledge of technology transfer, scale-up, and collaboration with manufacturing teams. Understanding of formulation principles for sckin care, personal care, OTC sunscreen SPFs and color cosmetic naturaly based consumer products. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences or a related field. Familiarity with GMP, quality systems, and relevant regulatory requirements for consumer products. Proficient in data analysis, technical documentation, and use of laboratory software and equipment. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Prior experience in personal care, sckin care, OTC Sunscreen SPFs and other cosmet products, or similar industries is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sunrider International
