Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Days and Nights (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30) | Straight Nights also available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in Cerner electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient care
• Float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed based on unit demand
• Participate in every-other-holiday rotation as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS , BLS , and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required — must be current at submission; AHA certifications only accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Prior telemetry or cardiac monitoring nursing experience
• Two supervisor references preferred at time of submission
