We invite applications for a full-time specialist in Emergency Medicine (Nocturnist) at our Largo Medical Center.Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises of board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. Our focus is on long-term health, prevention, diagnosing, and treating diseases effectively. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.What You Can Expect:• This position is a 0.8 FTE, which is the equivalent of 32 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below• Advanced Urgent Care setting• Nocturnist: Needs to work 90%+ overnight shifts• Pay differential• Fixed schedule determined at time of hire• 10-hour shifts• Observation Units staffed by our hospitalist teams• Collaborative mixed-specialty department, comprised of emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians working together and learning from each other• No Behavioral Health Observation• Non-Traditional Emergency Medicine OpportunitiesMinimum Requirements:• MD or DO• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and VirginiaMAPMG Physicians:• Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care• Communicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate)• Lead with integrity• Value teamwork• Are transparent and honest• Go above and beyond for their patientsWe Provide You:• Competitive compensation• Pathway for physicians to become shareholders of MAPMG• Comprehensive benefits including 100% employer-funded medical and dental insurance premiums, a pension plan and 401(k), life insurance, and paid leave• Complete professional liability coverage provided at no cost, 100% reimbursement for obtaining and maintaining board certification, continuing medical education reimbursement, and in-house CME opportunities• A concierge service that works directly with you to apply for all required state, CDS, and DEA licensesThe starting annual salary for this position is $296,000 which considers an applicants skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
