Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilizing advanced radiographic and CT techniques to obtain exceptional diagnostic images for medical assessment
- Working closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate accurate patient diagnoses
- Positioning patients effectively and ensuring equipment is calibrated for peak imaging quality
- Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols to safeguard patients and colleagues
- Maintaining precise records, including imaging logs and routine equipment checks
- Delivering empathetic care to patients throughout their imaging experiences
- Promoting a well-organized and high-functioning imaging environment
Education Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiology program
Essential Certifications
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is required
- Current BLS certification or eligibility to obtain within 90 days of employment
