In this full-time, contract-based opportunity, you'll work closely with a single member district, providing invaluable support through approximately 75 assessments, including initial evaluations and file reviews. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential
- Previous experience working in K-12 settings, with a passion for supporting diverse student populations
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to handle an average caseload involving both initial and file review assessments
- Sensitivity to and understanding of cultural differences, particularly within Native American communities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including initials and file reviews
- Prepare and present clear, accurate reports to multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers in supporting student success
- Provide consultation on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
- Act as an advocate for students, ensuring equitable access to services and supports
- Maintain up-to-date documentation according to state and district requirements
