Registered Nurse School Setting - Allentown, PA

As a substitute nurse, you'll provide crucial coverage when school nurses or health room technicians are absent, supporting the well-being of students in local educational environments. What we're looking for:

• Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN licensure
• Experience in school health, pediatrics, or an education-related setting preferred
• Ability to adapt to new environments and quickly respond to a variety of student needs
• Strong communication skills and the capability to collaborate with students, staff, and families
• CPR certification and knowledge of common childhood illnesses, medication administration, and emergency protocols

Role responsibilities:

• Step in as a substitute nurse in K-12 schools as needed throughout the academic year
• Perform routine health checks, manage medication administration, and document care provided
• Respond promptly to student injuries, illnesses, and health concerns during school hours
• Maintain a safe and supportive health room environment, ensuring all protocols are followed
• Work collegially with school staff to provide the best possible care for students
