Pharmacy Technician
Responsibilities
- Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle or dispose of them per procedure.
- Prepack frequently ordered medications, label, and store as needed during low volume times.
- Package materials and products manually.
- Pull and pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas.
- Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy checks.
- Alert the pharmacist on duty of any medication or product that is not scanning properly.
- Maintain designated workstation areas and replenish all stock supplies needed.
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
- Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required or expected.
- Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proof of Active IL Pharmacy Technician License issued by IL Board of Pharmacy.
- Proof of National Certified Pharmacy Technician.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work at a moderate speed with high volume orders.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Strong computer and data entry skills to maintain accuracy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Pharmacy experience.
- CPhT Certification.
- Fulfillment experience.
- Data entry proficiency.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and every other weekend from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Training will be for 3 weeks from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Extended hours may be necessary based on business needs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.84 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
