General Sonography - Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - OB experience, including Level II OB. - Must be able to scan general ultrasound with vascular.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - High-risk OB experience.

Unit Details: - Performs abdominal, pelvis, vascular (carotid/venous), ABI, OB/GYN, small-parts, and breast ultrasounds. - Exam times are 30 minutes to 1 hour each. - Uses GE Logic E10, Trophons, Parks Flolab, and Philips Intellispace PACS.

Shift & Scheduling: - Friday-Tuesday schedule. - One night of call per week and one weekend of call per month after working shift, about 6-8 call days per month.

Floating Requirements: - May float to outpatient ultrasound if proficient.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification S

• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS))
