Job Title: CCU RN AM Shift Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 hour days Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Experience: 2 years cardiac critical care experience required License: CA License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Floating required to ICU, PCU, Telemetry, Med/Surg, and ED holding. Weekend requirements include 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. Description: The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a cardiac critical care unit. Candidates should have experience in managing complex cardiac patients. Responsibilities include administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and managing IV therapy. Must be proficient in using electronic health record systems. Candidates should be able to connect and manage various medical devices. Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias is essential. The role requires teamwork and collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Strong patient assessment skills are necessary. The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills. The job requires the ability to prioritize patient care and manage multiple tasks effectively.
