Job Position: Physical Therapy Aide
Responsibilities
- Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patients
- Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes,rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises asdesigned by the Physical Therapist
- Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs
- Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment
- Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training.
- Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
