Maintenance Operator

Maintenance Operator Assistant
• Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
• Replace washers, faucets, and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment; repair leaks, clogged drains and repair sprinklers
• Assure safety standards are used
• Maintain inventory controls
• Maintains computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders, spare parts and maintenance history
• Responsible for safe maintenance, repair and replacement of plant equipment and systems
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
• Program PLCs
• Perform backup
• Provide on the job training
• Order tools and fabrication parts
• Basic reading, writing and some advanced arithmetic
• Advanced skills (Journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems, and PLC programming
• Experience using one or more of the following tools: lathe, milling machine, drill press, and vertical/ horizontal cut off saw.
• Ability to read, interpret and create blueprints and schematics
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds $14-$16 Hours vary-1st shift
