Exciting Opportunity for CT Tech/Rad Tech at Kindred Hospital - Chicago!

Join a dynamic healthcare team where your skills and compassion will truly make a difference! As a CT Tech/Rad Tech, you will have the chance to deliver exceptional patient care while utilizing your expertise in imaging technology.

Job Description:

- Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate procedures.
- Educate patients about the imaging process, equipment, and exams to enhance understanding and cooperation.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications, adhering to your scope of practice.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond to any changes as appropriate.
- Prepare imaging equipment and supplies with an emphasis on safety standards.
- Implement quality control procedures and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions as necessary.
- Position patients effectively and perform high-quality imaging procedures.
- Analyze imaging results and identify quality issues, taking appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Enter, transmit, and report scan results efficiently.

Position Requirements:

- Must have BLS certification (American Heart Association) attached to your submission.
- Must have ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology & CT.
- Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology; CT technology certificate program preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years recent experience in Radiology & CT is required.
- Flexibility to float between X-ray & CT departments.
- Shifts: (4) 10-hour shifts plus 50% on-call with alternating weekends.
