Pharmacist, PRN

Role Overview: The pharmacist provides direct patient care through clinical and operational services, ensuring safe medication use, drug therapy monitoring, and adherence to policies and regulations. Responsibilities include: Accurately entering medication orders, reviewing prescriptions for safety and efficacy, patient education, managing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare providers. Supervises pharmacy support staff, verifies tasks, and may serve as lead pharmacist to oversee workflow. Provides clinical services such as lab reviews, pharmacy consultations, and documentation; acts as liaison with care areas and supports continuous pharmaceutical care integration. Offers experiential training for technicians, students, and new team members, participating in departmental committees and education initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), pharmacy licensure or eligibility, thorough knowledge of pharmacy regulations, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques. Able to handle stressful situations and communicate effectively with diverse healthcare teams.
