Growing together.Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PMLocation: 2200 Sepulveda Blvd, Torrance, CA 90501Primary Responsibilities:Provide exceptional service to all customersGreets patients as they arrive and manages wait timeComplete check-in and check-out tasks to include insurance verification and copy required documentsCollects co-payments and issues receiptsProcesses walk-in patients and visitorsAnswers phones and schedules appointments as necessary, verifying correct visit type and primary care providerAnswer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as neededManages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.Responsible for waiting room management cleanliness, communicate pertinent information to patients and ensure all patients have been assistedWork with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flowResolve service issues and complaints, and defer to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessaryAssist co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areasEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the publicPerforms all other related duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment.
