Early Head Start Family Service Manager

SummaryThe Family Service Coordinator/Manager is responsible for monitoring ERSEA (Eligibility Recruitment Selection Enrollment Attendance)and Healthpractices and coordinating family services including the promotion of family wellness building community partnerships and operating as a liaison between programs classrooms and home settings in the areas of family engagement child development and mental health Functions:Perform the functions of this position with a strong understanding of the Head Start Program Performance Standards in addition to localstate and other federal and provide support to family service systemsof creating andsubmittingreports to management team that provide information related to ERSEA family goal setting services provided and any other information that may compliance using electronic data management systems. Establish and maintain communication with parents to insureopportunities for active program involvement and participationas well as crisis intervention. Participate in team management functions of planning implementing and evaluation of program. Assistinfacilitatingelection process of the programs Governing body. Perform other duties as may be Responsibilities:Supervise andmanagestaffthe overall direction and coordination of family services provided by family service staff and carries out responsibilitiesin accordance withfederalstateand local requirements as well as agency policies and applicable Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Human Servicesor a related field plus 5 yearsexperience working in Human Services Psychology or related field that includes course work in principles of social work child developmentcounseling and/or psychology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office to plan and carry out assignments to prioritize adhere to timelines and to multi-task. Willingness and skills to deal with sensitive family situations in a non-threatening and professional manner.
