Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Suites & Overnight Accommodations

· Clean, inspect, and prepare guest suites before arrivals and after departures to ensure every room is guest-ready.

· Make beds and present guest rooms according to Pleasant Vista standards.

· Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

· Restock towels, linens, toiletries, coffee supplies, and guest amenities.

· Perform quality inspections to ensure accommodations meet Pleasant Vista's high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

· Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged items promptly.

Event Spaces

· Clean and prepare bridal suites, groom's suite, spa, boutique, restrooms, and other guest areas before and after events.

· Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces throughout weddings, corporate retreats, and special events.

· Reset rooms, furnishings, and décor as directed for upcoming events.

· Assist with event setup and breakdown when needed.

Laundry & Linen Care

· Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, robes, and other guest laundry items.

· Maintain an organized linen inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available.

· Stock housekeeping closets and storage areas.

· Monitor cleaning products and laundry supplies and notify management when inventory is low.

General Responsibilities

· Follow all housekeeping, sanitation, and safety procedures.

· Safely operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning products according to manufacturer guidelines.

· Complete daily housekeeping assignments and checklists accurately and on time.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

· Assist with seasonal deep cleaning projects and special cleaning assignments.

· Work collaboratively with team members to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Previous housekeeping, hospitality, hotel, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.

· Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

· Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Physical Requirements

· Stand and walk for extended periods.

· Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach overhead.

· Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

· Push housekeeping carts and move light furniture when preparing event and guest spaces.

· Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions when necessary.
