Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required RDMS AB/OB and RVT certifications for an evening shift assignment.

Job Details

• Covers outpatient and Emergency Department settings,
• Works independently with phone access to a radiologist when urgently needed,
• Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics,
• Performs general ultrasound, abdomen, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, small parts, and vascular carotid studies,
• Vascular exams include Doppler studies and upper/lower extremity arterial studies,
• Uses PACS, portable ultrasound equipment, and Siemens/Acuson systems,
• Uses Epic EMR system,
• Schedule is 4x9.5 hour evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM,
• May be floated to any Cone Health campus as needed,
• May assist with patient transport/movement in other modalities when not busy in ultrasound,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required,
• RDMS AB/OB and RVT certifications required,
• BLS certification required,
• Siemens and Acuson equipment experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Community hospital experience required,
• Experience with 1:1 patient ratios,
• License required if applicable,
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed,

Additional Information

• Works as part of a team-based radiology/cardiology department,
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role,
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local rates apply,
