Project Manager, Civil Engineer

What You’ll Do Lead, design, and review civil designs (grading, drainage, stormwater, turf-base systems) Collaborate with estimating, project management, and sales teams, attending client hand-off meetings and providing ongoing project support Provide QA/QC for work produced by Civil Designers and Project Engineers Ensure designs meet municipal, state, and agency standards (AHJs, MODNR, USACE, etc.) Mentor, train, and support engineering staff Prepare and review permit submittals and coordinate approvals Attend client and municipal meetings Help manage workloads and support smooth handoff to construction What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred 5+ years of civil engineering experience (site design and project coordination) Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, and stormwater design Sports/parks experience and Midwest standards knowledge are a plus Skills That Matter Strong technical and design review skills Leadership and mentoring ability Good communication and organization Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Work Environment/Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential job functions while working at a computer for extended periods of time Ability to visit construction sites and navigate uneven terrain with PPE Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
