Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for retail, restaurant, hotel, and hospitality projects.

• Prepare construction drawings, layouts, plans, details, and specifications.

• Develop HVAC and plumbing designs in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

• Create and revise drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

• Coordinate HVAC and plumbing designs with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other project disciplines.

• Assist with load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork layouts, piping layouts, and system design.

• Participate in project coordination meetings and address design-related issues.

• Review construction documents and incorporate revisions as needed.

• Support senior engineers and project managers throughout the design and construction phases.

• Ensure drawings and design documents are completed accurately and within project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design.

• Experience working on retail, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality projects is required.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.

• Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing design principles.

• Familiarity with commercial building systems, construction documents, and industry codes.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.

• Experience with commercial MEP consulting or engineering firms.

• Familiarity with load calculation and HVAC design software.

• Knowledge of applicable mechanical, plumbing, and building codes.
