Position Summary

 

Hallmark House is seeking a dependable, caring, and hands-on Resident Care Supervisor to oversee our overnight shift and help ensure our residents receive safe, compassionate, and consistent care throughout the night.

The Resident Care Supervisor will serve as the lead on the night shift, providing direction and support to caregivers while remaining actively involved in resident care. This position is responsible for monitoring resident safety, ensuring care tasks are completed, addressing concerns, and preparing the community for the morning shift.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Lead and support caregivers and staff during the overnight shift
• Monitor residents throughout the night for safety, comfort, changes in condition, falls, behaviors, illness, or other concerns
• Ensure resident rounds and safety checks are completed
• Oversee personal care including toileting, incontinence care, repositioning, hygiene, bedtime and morning care
• Assist caregivers with resident care when needed
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, falls, and changes in resident condition
• Ensure incidents and resident concerns are properly documented and communicated
• Make sure staff remain engaged, attentive, and actively completing assigned responsibilities
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident areas and common areas
• Ensure resident-care supplies are stocked and ready for the next shift
• Assist with laundry and other overnight responsibilities as needed
• Complete a final building walk-through and provide a thorough report to the incoming shift
• Help ensure the community is safe, clean, organized, and ready for the morning

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in personal care, senior living, care-giving, or healthcare preferred
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Must be compassionate and respectful toward residents and coworkers

 

Position: Resident Care Supervisor – Night Shift

Location: Hallmark House 

Pay: $20.00/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule:

• 36–40 hours per week
• 3 twelve (12)-hour shifts
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Alternating weekends
