Seeking an experienced and patient-focused Travel MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) for a contract opportunity in the Wichita Falls, Texas . The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active MRI Technologist license/certification as required by state regulations
• Current ARRT (MR) certification preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
• Previous MRI experience in a hospital, outpatient, or diagnostic imaging setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures
• Experience operating MRI equipment and related technology
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare teams
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality imaging

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
• Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs
• Administer contrast media when authorized and required
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly
