Vice President Of Manufacturing– Reading, PAHours are 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through FridayThe Vice President of Manufacturing provides strategic and operational leadership across all production facilities of a global plastics manufacturing company serving industrial and medical markets. This executive ensures safe, compliant, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations, delivering products that meet strict regulatory standards and customer expectations.Essential Responsibilities:Set and execute global manufacturing strategy aligned to company growthPartner with executive leadership on innovation, capacity, and market expansionLead transformation initiatives (automation, digitalization, process improvement)Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvementOversee multi-site manufacturing operations and daily production activitiesDrive efficiency, throughput, and cost per unit improvementsImplement lean manufacturing and operational excellence practicesAlign production with customer demand and supply chain capabilitiesEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirementsMaintain audit readiness, traceability, and manufacturing documentationReduce scrap, rework, and non-conformanceChampion workplace safety and environmental responsibilityManage budgets, capital planning, and cost control initiativesTrack and improve key KPIs (yield, downtime, cost, on-time delivery)Lead, develop, and retain high-performing manufacturing teamsDrive accountability, collaboration, and succession planningImplement advanced manufacturing technologies and automationLeverage ERP/manufacturing systems and data analytics to improve performance and visibilityEssential Skills:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred12–15+ years of manufacturing leadership, preferably in plastics or medical device productionExpertise in lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and regulated manufacturingExperience leading multi-site operations and digital transformation initiativesStrong financial acumen, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skillsDomestic and International travel is required.Brentwood offers professional growth potential, pleasant work environment, and an excellent wage and benefits package including 401K w/employer match.
