(USA) Auto Care Center Manager Trainee

Position Summary Drive sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing and in‑stock inventory levels. Conduct budgeting and forecasting sales, assess economic trends and community needs, and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved, implementing plans to correct deficiencies. Provide customer service and assistance by acknowledging the customer, identifying customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving customer issues and concerns, promoting products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment. Create and process customer requests and service orders in accordance with company policies and procedures, explaining Auto Care Center and automotive products and services, ensuring technicians are trained and certified on service‑related procedures. Stage customer vehicles and assist with workflow as necessary; maintain the Auto Care Center and automotive sales floor and service area by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up cleaning and organizing product displays. Sign and price merchandise, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, maintain equipment per company guidelines, handle customer and merchandise claims and returns, zone the area, order and arrange merchandise. Monitor the Auto Care Center and automotive area for environmental disposal (e.g., batteries, tires, oil) and OSHA compliance, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction. Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, building accountability and measuring progress. Identify improvement opportunities and demonstrate adaptability, promoting continuous learning. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, giving recognition, fostering a belonging mindset. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and core values; support the Open Door Policy, respect individuality, build high‑performing teams, attract and retain talent, act with integrity, and deliver results while putting the customer first. Qualifications Minimum: 2 years experience in automotive service or service industry field; 1 year supervisory experience; valid driver's license. Preferred: Automotive Certification from Automotive Technical Institute; Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; Experience in automotive service or related field; Supervisory experience; ASE Certification.
