Responsibilities Housekeeper Full Time (Days Or Afternoons) - 8-hour shifts and every other weekend) Havenwyck Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital, overlooking Lake Galloway in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We specialize in providing comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Environmental Services, works as a team member to provide for a high state of cleanliness and order throughout the Hospital, Residential Treatment Center and Branches. We are seeking a dynamic and talented Housekeeper to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Duties include but are not limited to: * Cleans and services nursing units, patient rooms, baths, bathrooms, and business offices. * Cleans and mops floors. * Dusts furniture and equipment. * Cleans windows and window sills. * Empties trash baskets and arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion. * Uses necessary equipment and supplies in proper manner to accomplish job tasks. * Detects unclean areas and takes necessary action to insure that the Hospital cleaning standards are met. * Exercises initiative and judgment in maintaining assigned area in a clean and orderly condition. * Prepares soiled linen for pick up by contract laundry.
