Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a labor and delivery unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to mothers and newborns in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
Monitor patients' vital signs and fetal heart rates.
Implement and evaluate patient care plans.
Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate care to newborns.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).
Basic Life Support certification.
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
Five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery (within the last two years).
One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience (within the last two years).
High-Risk OB experience is preferred.

Skills

Strong clinical skills along with effective communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role. The candidate should demonstrate compassion and a patient-centered approach in all interactions.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 12-hour shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.
