Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with neuro-interventional experience to join our Interventional Radiology team. The RN will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care during interventional procedures, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficacy.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full scope of Interventional Radiology procedures, including TAVR, Mitra Clip, carotid stenting, and peripheral arterial cases.
• Administer medications and manage patient care pre, intra, and post-procedure.
• Maintain thorough documentation through the GE Imaging Documentation System.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and Techs, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:4 based on acuity.
• Be available for call shifts and respond within 30 minutes if called in.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• RCIS or any procedural/cardiology-centered certification preferred.
• Vascular IR procedural experience and knowledge of Cath Lab/IR protocols.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
