Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: - Trauma telemetry unit. - Current ratios: Day RN 1:5/6; Night RN 1:6/7. - No procedures performed on the unit; prepares patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR. - Medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), VC150’s in every patient room, workstation on wheels for every staff member, and tap and go for computer/documentation access.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Leadership experience. - Charge nurse experience.

Shift & Scheduling: - Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shift on night shift).

Floating Requirements: - Float to Med-Surg units 3W, 5W, and K8 (sister units).

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
