Construction Accounting Systems Specialist

If you have an expert level Quickbooks knowledge in construction, then please read on! What You'll Be Doing Own full-cycle accounting for multiple entities in QuickBooks Enterprise. Build and maintain monthly WIP schedules, applying the appropriate revenue recognition method by project type. Configure QuickBooks Enterprise job cost structure—items, sub-jobs, classes, and estimates—to support accurate WIP reporting. Process intercompany transactions, shared services allocations, and month-end journal entries. Coordinate with project managers to capture cost estimates and track actuals vs. budget. Support the company’s future migration to a new ERP system as the entities grow. What You Need For This Position Advanced QuickBooks Enterprise skills—specifically job costing, estimates, and item setup. 3+ years of construction accounting experience (GC, subcontractor, or construction services) Solid understanding of WIP, percentage of completion, and ASC 606. Multi-entity and intercompany accounting experience. Strong Excel skills with the ability to build WIP schedules outside of the accounting system.
