Responsibilities for this Position Location: USA FL MacDill AFB Full Part/Time: Full time Job Req: RQ211800 Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret/SCI Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret/SCI Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: Data Science and Data Engineering Job Qualifications: Skills: Data Analytics, Data Science, Innovation Certifications: None Experience: 8+ years of related experience US Citizenship Required: Yes Data Analysts support the IDST by using technology to mine complex, voluminous, and different varieties of data from various sources and platforms to collect, analyze, and compile data to meet customer needs. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting Collect customer requirements Determine technical issues Design algorithms and data manipulation capabilities using R, Python, C++, JavaScript, Go, and other known programming languages Build data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers to monitor and report on data Improve the quality of data use and usability by driving an understanding and adherence to the principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions Work collaboratively with Intelligence and Data analysis teams to produce qualitative and quantitative data that support Intelligence products Deploy and maintain infrastructure needed for development, testing and deployment of IDST capabilities, to include but not limited to, virtual machines, database servers, application programming interfaces/services, and containerized applications in cloud and on-prem based architectures Troubleshoot issues across various cloud and on-premises environments Implement and refine monitoring solutions to meet SLAs WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Experience providing services similar in required tasks, scope, and complexity Required experience with Python, Terraform, Containers (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role Desired Experience Apache, Docker, Postgres, GeoServer, Ubuntu Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in a computer science discipline or equivalent.
