What You ll Do

As a Veterinary Technician - Surgery Floater at MVA, you ll step in and support various departments based on need, making each day both challenging and rewarding. In this role, you will:

• Provide hands-on assistance during procedures from general patient care and diagnostic workups to advanced interventions under the guidance of senior technicians and specialists.
• Manage a range of technical tasks , such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, and patient record-keeping.
• Collaborate with diverse teams , learning from specialists and fellow technicians to expand your expertise across multiple areas of veterinary medicine.
• Maintain a high level of organization , ensuring the department is stocked with necessary supplies and that equipment is ready for immediate use.

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following available schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 8am-6pm

Compensation

• Starting at $23.00/hour
