Position: Senior Career Advancement Specialist Reports To: Site ManagerLocation: Pleasant Street Day ServicesHours: Full-time/40 hrs. Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with flexibility for evenings and weekends.OverviewTriangle has an immediate opening for a Senior Career Advancement Specialist at our Day Services. This advanced role builds on the Career Advancement Specialist position and provides leadership in employment development, program innovation, and staff onboarding. The Senior Career Advancement Specialist equips adults with disabilities to achieve meaningful career and personal goals by expanding access to supported and competitive integrated employment, collegiate pathways, and workforce readiness opportunities.Triangle 's Expectation of EmployeeAdheres to Triangle policy and procedures Fosters a positive, solution-oriented culture consistent with Triangle's missionPromotes employment, self-advocacy, and independence across programs and participantsActs as a role model within and outside of Triangle Maintains a positive and respectful attitude towards participants, staff, and community partnersCommunicates regularly with supervisor Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workloadConsistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position, with a willingness to flex hours as neededPrimary Responsibilities Deliver individualized and group-based career readiness, employment, and collegiate pathway servicesProvide 1:1 job development, job coaching, and career planning supportConduct initial and ongoing assessments to support personal and professional growthIntegrate independent living, self-advocacy, soft skills, and workplace readiness into programmingSupport participants in developing natural supports to increase independence and community integrationProvide transportation to employment-related activities as needed (interviews, assessments, job searches, job coaching)Develop and maintain relationships with community employers and collegiate partnersIdentify, create, and expand competitive, integrated employment opportunitiesFacilitate job shadowing, training opportunities, and workforce exposure experiencesMonitor job performance, workplace behavior, and satisfaction for supported participantsTroubleshoot employment-related concerns with employers and stakeholders in a professional mannerMeet and maintain a 35-hour per week quotaSupport onboarding and training of new Career Advancement Specialists across the department in collaboration with the management teamLead or co-lead monthly best practice meetings with the Employment TeamDesign, implement, and evaluate one new employment-related initiative per quarter, such as mock career fairs, workforce training events, employer panels, or innovative employment programmingProduce and manage supported employment schedules and monitor contract utilizationSubmit accurate daily billing and documentation using Penelope softwareContribute to monthly ISP/Life Plan progress notes and goal trackingCollect and maintain data related to ISP/Life Plan goals, behavior plans, and employment outcomesCollaborate with Case Management to ensure participant goals are metParticipate in ISP/Life Plan meetings with DDS, participants, and support teams as neededMaintain regular communication with families regarding employment progress and needsParticipate in team meetings, supervision, and department planning sessionsFlex schedule as needed to meet employment site and participant needs, notifying management of changes QualificationsHigh School Diploma required; additional Education preferredOne to Three years of Human Services job placement experience preferredSome Marketing and/or Sales experience preferred First Aid/CPR and Safety Care or willingness to become certified. Massachusetts Driver's License and clean driving record requiredPersonal vehicle requiredMust clear state and federal background check Language SkillsAbility to verbally communicateAbility to read, analyze, interpret, and write documents.
