Oncology Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program for nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
- Previous work experience in a patient setting preferred:
- Center of Cancer Care: 3-5 years medical, surgical, or critical care experience required. Oncology experience preferred.
Oncology Registered Nurse Benefits
- $250 Deductible (per covered person)
- $500 Deductible (per covered family)

Oncology Registered Nurse Job Description
- Provides direct and indirect patient care across all age groupsneonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsusing the nursing process. This involves data collection, assessment, prioritization of patient issues and needs, and the creation, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans. Applies critical thinking to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and age-appropriate care. Effectively delegates tasks to team members, documents care accurately and promptly and communicates and collaborates with other healthcare professionals. Adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards.
