As a Pet Groomer specializing in dog care, you will be an integral part of a dedicated grooming team, providing essential grooming services to enhance the health and appearance of pets. The role involves daily to monthly appointments where you will utilize standard and advanced grooming tools, along with eco-friendly products, to deliver excellent care while ensuring safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Bathing and brushing dogs to maintain cleanliness and coat health
- Trimming hair and clipping nails to desired styles and lengths
- Styling pets according to customer preferences and breed standards
- Maintaining sanitation and hygiene standards in the grooming area
- Interacting with customers to understand their grooming needs
- Carefully handling animals to ensure their comfort and safety
- Adhering to safety and compliance protocols throughout grooming processes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pet grooming
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong animal handling skills
- Proficient in pet grooming techniques
- Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene practices
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Effective time management skills
- Detail-oriented approach to grooming tasks
- Physical stamina to handle grooming duties
