Associate Director, Hematology Regional Marketing Specialist- Great Lakes

Position Summary The Associate Director, Hematology Regional Marketing (RMK) role is a senior in‑market position within the US Hematology/Cell Therapy commercial organization focused on commercial Thought Leader engagements to gain insights into regional opportunities, bridge regional markets and headquarters, support brand strategy, promotional speaker training and development, peer‑to‑peer educational programs, and regional congress activity. Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy Work with cross‑functional teams to provide customer insights on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution. Support the execution of approved advisory boards, including identifying healthcare professional (HCP) consultants, facilitating and attending boards. Regional and National Physician Discussions Support disease‑state and approved on‑label conversations using approved promotional messaging and PReP materials. Engage with assigned thought leaders and solicit feedback. Participate in Congresses and other industry meetings. Conduct 1:1 meetings with HCPs and attend congress sessions. Compliant Collaboration with Field‑based and Home‑Office Teams Provide input and support in developing account plans for sales speaker management and engagement. Identify and develop HCP speakers for compliant promotional education. Provide refresher and follow‑up training on PReP‑approved materials. Host and ensure compliant execution of branded and unbranded speaker programs. Monitor speaker performance to evaluate effectiveness. Collaborate with home office marketing, sales, and cross‑functional teams on strategy. Assist in developing home office brand strategy and execute it regionally. Compliance & Integrity Act with professionalism in accordance with BMS policies, laws, regulations, industry codes, and the company’s Principles of Integrity. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in product marketing, field sales, or field medical. Minimum 5 years in Hematology or specialty therapeutics. Bachelor’s degree required or higher. Marketing, sales management, and/or launch experience preferred. Experience with thought leader engagement, advisory boards, and speaker’s bureau preferred. Proven ability to manage a large geographical territory. Ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and meet their needs. Ability to inform strategies, develop tactics, and execute plans under short timelines. Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics. Clinical knowledge in complex disease states and continuous learning aptitude. Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills. Self‑driven with strong organization and planning skills. Effective interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of ideas or plans. Highly collaborative and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to try innovative, compliant ways to solve problems. Business travel by air or car required. Willingness to work evenings and select weekends required. Compensation Overview Field - United States - US: $164,990 - $199,933. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available, and final compensation is based on demonstrated experience. Benefits Health Coverage: Medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision care. Additional time off may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs, and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day. On‑Site Protocol BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. Roles may be site‑essential, site‑by‑design, field‑based, or remote‑by‑design. Site‑essential roles require 100% onsite. Site‑by‑design roles may be eligible for a hybrid model with at least 50% onsite. Field‑based and remote‑by‑design roles require travel to visit customers, patients, or partners.
