• Starting from $22.76 - $26.78 dependent upon experience
• SIGN ON BONUS!! - $1500 Sign-on bonus (with 6 mo. or greater previous equivalent production experience). Applicants Eligible for offers given 8/28/26 and after with candidate starting work at Jtec on or prior to 9/28/26.

Duties and responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, shapers, or grinders. CNC and manual.
• Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers.
• Set up, adjust or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories or materials onto machines.
• Measure, examine or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
• Have parts verified by quality as standard operation procedure specifics to confirm parts meet dimensional requirements.
• Ensure all parts are labeled and have job travelers with correct parts and record count for those parts.
• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
• Keep the assigned workstation swept and cleaned as necessary, keep clutter and trip hazards out of work areas.
• Use PPE, per training, as required for the specific task being performed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • 3-5 years manual and CNC machining experience required
  • CNC Programming experience, required
