Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Associate to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a respectful and professional manner. Location Oak Ridge, TN 37830 Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide mobility assistance and help residents move safely within the facility. Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff. Support residents during meals and ensure proper hydration and nutrition. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, therapists, and other team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work compassionately with elderly or disabled individuals. Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures. Ability to stand, walk, and assist residents for extended periods. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Work Environment This position is based in a residential care facility in Oak Ridge, TN.
