Oncology Nurse Navigator (RN) - Bonita Springs Description Location: Bonita Community Health Center - 3501 Health Center Blvd, Bonita Springs, FL 34135 Department: Admin Services - OP Ctr Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00AM to 4:00:00PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $35.04 - $47.30 / hour Hiring Incentive: $7,500 sign-on bonus for OCN certification, plus paid annual OCN membership fees As an Oncology Nurse Navigator at Lee Health Cancer Institute, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming the patient experience. Summary Uses a multidisciplinary team approach and acts as a liaison between the patient, staff and referring physician offices as well as ancillary areas of the hospital system. Identifies timely diagnostic results and facilitates and coordinates patient care. Facilitates a timely, integrated and coordinated approach to the care of patients with cancer and to provide quality nursing care for the patients with cancer or related health issues Identifies learning needs and content for educational programs. Develops, presents, coordinates and evaluates educational activities. Effectively performs in the role of clinician, facilitator, advocate, consultant and/or researcher. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or Bachelor's Nursing or Healthcare RelatedRequired Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/ Preferred and/or 3 YearsMedical SpecialtyRequired State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Registered Nurse LicenseRequired Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Certificates/Registrations Required/ Preferred and/or BLS required. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required. Other Requirements Membership in professional/academic organizations desired. Basic computer skills in MS Windows, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
