Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – General Nursing

Schedule: Shift: 7a-7p

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Maine or compact
• Certification: BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Immunizations: Varicella (2 doses or titer), HepB (3 doses or titer or declination), MMR (2 doses or titer), Tdap, PPD (2 step or titer within past 12 months)
• Flu shot required during flu season

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments.
• Develop and implement a plan of care based on patient needs.
• Communicate patient care activities to healthcare team members.
• Document patient care activities according to established standards.
• Administer medications accurately and evaluate patient responses.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency preparedness planning.

Compliance / Notes:

Traveler will report to Human Resources on day 1 for onboarding process. Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks.
