Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time, Onsite

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Setting : School & Residential Program

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team near Palatine Illinois, serving children and adolescents in a specialized school and residential treatment setting. This full-time, onsite position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with significant emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.

Our program supports individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviors, including aggression, self-injurious behaviors, property destruction, elopement, and emotional dysregulation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a highly structured therapeutic environment and is committed to helping students develop the skills necessary for greater independence and success.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, therapists, and residential staff to support student goals.
Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
Support students in developing skills related to self-regulation, sensory processing, fine motor development, activities of daily living, and school participation.
Contribute to a positive, safe, and therapeutic learning environment.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment serving students with complex behavioral needs.
