Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention planning
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, learning differences, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and parents
- Knowledge of special education processes and IEP development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments of students
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies for students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams for eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and problem-solving sessions
- Provide direct counseling services to individuals and groups
- Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom interventions and student progress
- Promote positive school climate and provide crisis intervention as needed
