Unit/Department MedSurg/Tele Float Pool. What units are included in the float pool How many beds are on your unit, suites, labs, etc.

Are they all private rooms? Anything else specific The most frequent units they will float to are 6N (36 beds) & 7N (29 beds).

Other units: 4N (36 beds), 5S (36 beds), 6S (36 beds), & Critical Care (20 beds).

Nurse:Patient Ratios What are your nursing ratios? Mainly 1:5-6 for both days & nights on most units

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS" BLS & ACLS are Required.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients "What are common diagnosises or types of patients that you care for on your unit or in your department?

" CHF, Cardiac cath, CP, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, Ortho, & Oncology (perm staff will administer chemo).
