Step into an engaging opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time contract role focuses on onsite work with students, collaborating closely with educators and families to create a positive difference throughout the academic year. Beginning August 10, 2026 and concluding May 28, 2027, you’ll experience a fulfilling school-based environment where your expertise will be instrumental in fostering student success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in Indiana
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children
- Ability to assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans within a school curriculum
- Skilled in maintaining clear communication with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable, organized, and able to balance a full-time, onsite caseload
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary school students
- Evaluate students referred for services and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized goals and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration
- Consult with families and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for home
- Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements
- Support an inclusive and engaging learning environment
